Indian Air Force Recruitment 2022
Indian Air Force (IAF) has started the registration process for recruitment through the Agnipath scheme 2022 from June 24, 2022. IAF has issued a fresh regarding this recruitment drive that contains the important dates.
Eligible candidates, who are interested in working in the Indian Air Force under this scheme, can apply via online mode by going directly to their official website- careerindianairforce.cdac.in. It is important to note that in order to qualify as an Agniveer, fulfilling the eligibility criteria is crucial.
As per the notification, the registration process will began on Friday (June 24) and will continue till July 5. The online examination will be held on July 24.
The first batch of Agniveervayu would be enrolled by December and training would commence by December 30.

Selection process Indian Air Force Recruitment 2022
The candidates will be selected on the basis of online test, physical fitness test (PFT), adaptability test-I, adaptability test-II and medical examination.

The applicant should have Class 10th or matriculation passing certificate, intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent mark sheet or 3 Yrs Engineering Diploma Final Year Mark sheet and Matriculation mark sheet or 2 years Vocational course mark sheet and marks sheets of non-vocational.
The candidate’s age should be between 17.5 years to 21 years. That means the candidates should born between 29th December 1999 and 29th June 2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrollment is 23 years,” said the IAF notification.

The exam fee is Rs 250, which can be paid by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through the payment gateway or paid by Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch.
“Agniveervayu will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force under Air Force Act 1950 for a period of four years. Agniveervayu would form a distinct rank in the Indian Air Force, different from any other existing ranks. Indian Air Force is not obliged to retain Agniveervayu beyond the engagement period of four years,” said the IAF notification.
The notification added further that the Agniveervayu will not have any right to be selected for further enrolment into the Indian Air Force. Selection of the Agniveervayu for further enrolment, if any, shall be at the discretion of the Indian Air Force, it added.
